In the “forever” amount of time it’s taken me to update my blog, a lot has happened. However, one thing that has been happening that takes up almost every moment of my time is the upcoming birth of my daughter. My wife and I had been trying to have a baby for about four years, and it was a long four years of hope and tears. I hope to one day write about it all, because it makes for one hell of a story. It’s also not very unique. Many couples find themselves having problems conceiving, and probably experienced the same things that my wife and I had to go through. However, we where fortunate enough to be able to work with the fantastic staff at IVF Florida and Dr. Vanessa Weitzman, who held our hand and listened to us and cried with us, and most importantly, always told us the truth.
After all the pain my wife went through (no joke, this is an astounding amount of stress and pain a woman endures during IVF) and all the personal hardships we went through, our baby girl will be coming soon.
It’s been a long time since I worried about aging, but at 44, I think it’s about time to man up and be a big Papa.
Real Soon.
Like, just a few weeks away soon.
Wowza.
In any case, on our last visit to our perinatal Doctor, we got a beautiful image of our baby girl. The next generation of rumblepup, the rumblepuppy. The image is a bit distorted, but I think she’s the most beautiful little girl in the world, and I can’t wait to meet her.
